  1. I have no idea what the effort might be. However, I feel confident that after (and only after) this becomes a regular post someone will find offense or be vocal about changes.
  2. If I start sending this out on my own, it would be my idea. If others say "go ahead", then it's concensus. I simply can't assume the community wants me (as originator of the RFD) to be the maintainer & distributor.

I think it would be best if there were at least 2 independent people/groups who would accept joint responsibility, as prime & backup or alternates, or some other variant.
