owa_util.ident_arr

Hi. In a pl/sql program I am using a owa_util.ident_arr object with checkboxes. The problem is an unchecked box doesn't work. Can I do something like this to work around?

 onSubmit="JavaScript:if (myList(1).value==null {myList(1).value = "EMPTY" This syntax is not doing anything.
