Hi

I would be wary about connecting an Oracle database and applications to the Internet even if its for a "good" cause. It would be easy to hack into remotely if you expose such features as backups and tuning to remote users. have a look at my site http://www.petefinnigan.com where there are a lot of papers about Oracle and security.
