Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone ever tried using Intermedia Annotator to upload
media files (audio, video) to Oracle 9i and had the same problem with the
driver.
Everything goes fine with creating templates, testing connection, etc, but
the following message appears when I finally try to insert the file into the
database:
Error: {AnnotationHandlerException} Oracle ORDBMS insertion failed. java.sql.SQLException: No suitable driver
I've installed the standard Oracle client on the client PC. I've tried both OCI and Thin drivers but they all give the same problem.
I'm using Win XP on the client PC (that's where Annotator 1.5.3 runs). Database is Oracle 9i running on Linux Suse 8.0
Here are my local variables:
PATH:
D:\oracle\ora92\oracle.swd.jre\bin;C:\j2sdk1.4.1_02\bin;D:\oracle\ora92\bin;
C:\Program Files\Oracle\jre\1.3.1\bin;C:\Program
Files\Oracle\jre\1.1.8\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\S
ystem32\Wbem;C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI Control Panel;D:\Program

CLASSPATH: D:\oracle\ora92\jdbc\lib\classes111.zip;D:\oracle\ora92\jdbc\lib\nls_charset 11.zip;D:\oracle\ora92\jdbc\lib\classes12.zip;D:\oracle\ora92\jdbc\lib\nls_c harset12.zip
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks a lot,
