Hi Mr Volker,

I'm using windows 2000 professional edition, on P4, IBM Machine. And trying to install oracle 9i enterprise edition.

Any way I solved the installation problem on my machine.

I was having multiple JVM's (jdk's and jre's) on my machine. I removed all of them and installed jdk 1.4.

Then while instllation of oracle 9i, I did it in custom mode. I postponed database creation at the end of the installation.

Then the installation was sucessful.
