I am writing a report that will print the following item number with dots in front of the item number. The dots indicate the level of the item in the BOM oreder. These dots vary by item number. My question is I know the level the item number is, but how do I format the output line and put the dots in front of the item number. I am new to the reports enviroment and my level of expertise is low. The user wants the imtem numbers to display as follows:

....ML00000433
..ML00000455
.ML00000456

My questions is what is the easy way to do this in reports 6i?

ANY IDEAS? Received on Sun Sep 07 2003 - 13:02:36 CDT
