Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> How could I find oracle version?
OK, oracle instance version is in v$instance. What about the database? I
have dbf files which I don't have idea what version they are. I would
recreate control files but what upgrade script am I supposed to run?
Speaking of manageability wouldn't it be wonderful to have a unified script
so that it would be oracle who would have to figure out from what version to
upgrade, not poor me?
