[redhat 7.1][installing oracle 8.1.7]

hello everybody,
i'm trying to install oracle 8.1.7 on RedHat 7.1 server. I've installed the pre-requires lib (like compat-libc, etc ...)... but, when i run 'runInstaller' :
- i've a java excpetion when using the java kit installed by me.... (i've
changed the path into the orapam.ini file).
- with the default used java package with the install, it runs but... i've
any window !!!!

Thanks if you have already met this problem...
