I am not really interested in fixing the problem anymore, i am more interested in learning the basics so i know what i am looking at when i have to fix these problems. I forget the exact error message but the microsoft kb and the newsgroups all say to upgrade the oracle client from 8.1 to a newer version but give no info on how to obtain the "oracle client".
