Tom,

Thanks for the info. I was using the OCI interface but i will have a look at the Oracle .Net Provider.

I did notice that most articels seem to be baised towards SQL Server whcih doesn't surprise me really. I did realise that alot of posting to newsgroups about Oracle and C# are fairly advanced questions so i thought that someone somewhere would know of a nice gentle beginners site.

Well I will have a read of the docs which accompany the Oracle .Net provider and then maybe i will be able to put something together myself and post it on the net.
