Clairvoancy helmet is in for repairs....Please give us a little hint of your environment (eg: OSs, database versions, ec.)

If you use a Windows platform, consider looking at the services - one of them is possibly an OracleManagementService (or similar) & it should be started if you want to use it.

You might also consider going to the documentation (available at http://docs.oracle.com) or the online samples (http://otn.oracle.com > sample code > Oracle By Example) which have windows related examples. Received on Sun Jul 13 2003 - 12:24:56 CDT
