IMHO, the basic Pro - all the parts are included and wired. Your ultimate 5-year costs are likely to be lower because you will not spend as much time hiring consultants to fix the problems that arise when you need to upgrade component 'x' (and you will upgrade - if nothing else, to fix security issues!)
The basic Con - the initial cost and learning curve will be very steep. You will not have sufficient time to get comfortable with the product before the boss asks why it isn't running. You NEED training!
So if your organization is worried mainly about CapEx (Capital Expenditure), then you will go the custom/free route. If the org is worried about OpEx (Operation Expenditure) over several years, you will seriously consider the Oracle solution. It's ALL about when you want to spend/save money!
