so you have actual Oracle experience? Certifications do not help at all if you do not have atleast 3 years experience. Only ones saying they do are the training companies trying to steal your money.
Do the 8i one and upgrade its cheaper than taking that class. Im doing that. They are not THAT hard, you only need to get about 70% correct per test. You can get the books used at www.bestbookbuys.com for about $70. I have had relatively good experiences buying used books online, however, I always go in and check responses first. I am more interested in negative ones that positive one.
Market has picked up some in the US. Not saying much it was DEAD last year. You really have to nail interviews to get positions. Ive noticed that the specialized skillsets are what is in demand now. Oracle Technical(Financials, CRM), Web Toolkit(PL/SQL server pages), 9iAS far more than the standard developer and DBA spots. Received on Fri Apr 25 2003 - 06:20:41 CDT
