Adding Database to Failsafe group

Hi,

I am cutting an Oracle system from it's old hardware to a stretched cluster.

I would like to complete as much work as possible ahead of time. Is it possible to install the application and it's test Oracle database, cluster it. Then post installation, replace the test database with the live production database, convert it to failsafe and put in the fail safe cluster group..
