Oracle Configurator vs. Forms

We have a group of Oracle Consultants who recommend that we convert
all of our custom Forms to Oracle Configurator.



Is this even possible?



How would you compare Oracle Configurator to Forms?  Does Configurator
have security?  menus?  record locking? What is it missing?
