Re: Exproting from Solaris to Win2000 gives error, IMP-00010: Not a valid export file, header failed verification

Some suggestions:

• Make sure the version of the exp/imp executable matches that of the DB server. There is a way to get around this, but it is rather involved.
  • Make sure you use the blocksize exp/imp parameter explicitly when both importing and exporting. Of course, you should use the same setting.
  • Like Sybrand said, make sure the dmp file is not getting corrupted in any step of the way.
