Oracle has no conflict. You just didn't read the installation instructions.

Had you done so you'd know that all you need to do is provide another ORACLE_HOME name and a different directory into which to install the product's files.

I strongly urge you to do nothing until you have read the complete installation instructions or you'll be back here asking more questions after completing a faulty installation.
