Oracle 8.0.6 and Win XP Pro

Could I Install an Oracle Client 8.0.6 on a computer with Win XP Pro
(I tried it but I have an error during install ..... install continues
.... but I can't open Net8 Assistant for example: So, my install is
not correct).


Maybe, problem of compatibility with Win XP Pro ?
