Transferring databases

Hi!


We are using Oracle 8i running on Windows 2000. We are planning to buy
a new, more powerful server and transfer our database to this new
system. What is the best way to achieve this transfer process? We will
install a fresh copy of Oracle to the new server and import existing
data from old server. Is export-import enough or a different procedure
should be followed?
