Trouble with Oracle HS

Having some difficulty troubleshooting Oracle Heterogeneous Services. I've got my Oracle DB set up with a public link to a Paradox database (via ODBC). I can connect to Paradox from Oracle, but a simple query against one of the Paradox tables yields a "table or view does not exist". Similarly, the Oracle ODBC Test app can connect, but won't process queries. I've been guessing that maybe I have an incompatible Paradox ODBC driver, but I'm not sure.

Can anyone lend any tips on troubleshooting this sort of problem?
