Go to Oracle .com and Click the Downloads button on the top right. There you can find all the Oracle software. I believe you can run them license
free for 30 days.

I have at A Guide to Oracle 8, as well as the new version, A Guide to Oracle 9 very useful. Both are by Joline Morrison and Mike Morrison,
and published by Course Technology. Website is Course.com. ISBN:0-619-00027-9 The book takes you through step by step with a multitude of hands on exercises.
