Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Can't copy and paste between Oracle Forms and other apps
I'm using Windows 2000 SP3, on a Compaq Evo Pentium-4 with 256MB of
RAM. I've installed Oracle JInitiator 1.1.7.18 to access an Oracle
database via Forms 6. I've fixed the P4 bug that occurred in
JInitiator - that's not a problem anymore.
The weird question is that I cannot copy any text from a regular Windows application (such as Notepad) to a text box in my Oracle application. Apparently, Windows 2K is creating separate memory areas which have separate clipboards.
Does anyone know how to fix this? I want to share text copied from other apps using CTRL+C and CTRL+V, just as I did in Windows 98.
TIA,
JR
