Thank you Mark. I'll use sqlldr80 (what I have) and use an Access shell function to pass the database password - should work out fine.

Ed, thanks for your offer, but I'm doing this in Access and I don't know much about PERL at all. I don't know if the two are mutually exclusive or not.
