Hello,
Some time ago I wrote an application to laod data into one of out databases. As this was Oracle 7, everything had to be handled via the OS, and so accessing SQLLoader was easy.
Time moves on and I have now been asked to do write a similar application for our 8i database. Of course everyone now wants point and click pretty interfaces (and lets face if that's what gets us paid then thats what we have to do). So before going off to speak to out Java programmers about getting the GUI sorted, what I would like to know is can I access SQLLoader via the AS or am I somehow going to have to invoke it at the command line as before?
A yes or no answer will suffice, but if you could give me any hints on how to do this I would be grateful.
Thanks
