ANNOUNCE: Version *1.2* of DBA Companion for Oracle

DBAComp(anion) is a database administration tool for Oracle databases. It allows you to browse the Oracle data dictionary in a graphical way.

Main features:

Browse data dictionary and drill down from one information to related ones.
Generate SQL scripts based on data dictionary information.
Completely customise all SQL used by DBAComp.

DBAComp is based on the Qt graphical library and is written in C++. It is an open source product developed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). It can be used for Oracle7 or higher.

New features in version 1.2: Many new screens to visualize Oracle data dictionary
information, many new SQL script generations to simplify daily DBA tasks, support
for Oracle9i (rel 1 and 2) and bug fixes.

can download binary versions for Linux, Windows, Solaris, HP-UX and Reliant Unix.
