No, but general courtesy would suffice. You might even have a question yourself one day and I'm guessing that you would probably like a straight answer, not a sarcastic remark or electronic sigh of disgust/despair.

That's fair enough - I guess it works both ways. But it comes back to courtesy - if my or any poster's questions seem trivial to you or any other user, then either ignore them or point them in the general direction of alternative sources of information. The time you "donate" making them feel inadequate for asking the question in the first place could have been better spent answering another question that you deemed worthy of your expertise and knowledge all along. There's enough of them in the myriad forums.

Anyway, can't be bothered to argue this one any more...I'm off to help an old lady to cross the road before delivering some toys to the children's hospital.
