Laid-off Oracle 8iDBA and DB2 specialist seek a position in Canada and US

Please contact me if you and your friend have an Oracle/DB2 DBA or developer with Java & JDBC opening.

I got layoff from my last position, a DBA in a software development company, focus on Oracle/UDB & JAVA application, we developed on NT/2K and implemented on Linux and Solaris. I have done all DBA's work in my software development team, worked on Oracle 8i(from 8.1.5) to 9i, DB2/UDB from version 6 to 7.2, some application test on SQL Server from 6.5 to 2000, as well as Sybase and MySql. I have over 10 years IT experience and mostly on database development and administration from mainframe to Unix/Linux and NT/2000, I did 4 years production DBA in bank and over 3 years in software development team (recently), unfortunately got lay off three months ago. I am looking for any Oracle/DB2 admin and developer (SQL & Java) position around Toronto, also consider other area in US and Canada.
