Not how good as an DBA.

I completed 8i&9i certification 2 months ago, and looking for a DBA or related job, used to be mainly a programmer for 10 years.

I did the certification fast and scored 3 100% out of 5 8i exams. I'm not showing off here, OCP is really nothing in job market. Oracle should have done something better for it, the textbooks and exams suck, also OCPs' prospects. But I didn't only do well in exams, don't blame me.

What I want to know is, what does this score mean in certification world ONLY. I asked oracle, they told me statistics is confidential. So I wonder anybody know some thing about it? Heard of somebody score 3 or 4 100%? Once somebody bragged he posessd the highest score in the area, 2 years ago, and he got a good job. So I hope I can put some fancy words in my resume that grab HRs' eyeballs. That's it. I don't dare to say I'm the best OCP in the world, but how about best in the town?

Thanks,

P.S
these days I have some thoughts in job hunting, anybody want to talk about it? Received on Thu Oct 31 2002 - 21:13:38 CST
