Rollback generation rate

I have been seeing messages from our monitoring software such as :

DBSPI-0054.1: Rollbacks generation rate (384.20/minute) too high for QAS (>=50.00/minute).
DBSPI-0054.1: Rollbacks generation rate (640.73/minute) too high for SND (>=50.00/minute).

What does 'Rollback generation rate' mean?

BTW, we use HP Openview and the Oracle plug-in to monitor the databases. Received on Mon Oct 28 2002 - 14:43:40 CST
