Forms9i - blicking screen when running a form

I have a form that runs fine in Oracle Forms6i (as web application). But when I compile and run the form in Forms9i I can see that whole area of the form applet (in the browser) is repainted often. For example when I scroll page down in a tabular data block - not only the data block but whole applet is repainted. This produces annoying blicking.
If I run the form with parameter lookAndFeel=Oracle (rounded windows), blicking disappears. It appears only in lookAndFeel=Generic mode.

Does anyone know how to run forms in Generic mode without annoying blicking?

Thanks
