Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.misc -> Shut down Apache?
I just installed Oracle 9i Personal Edition. However, my performance of my
pc has now taken a hit. I am running a PIII-550 with 384mb ram. I looked at
the task manager and found that Oracle was running automatically when I
reboot. So, I think I disabled that. However, there is also Apache running.
I clicked on "Stop HTTP Server powered by Apache" but when the little dos
window appeared, I got this error message:
Access is denied: FastCGI: CreateMutex() failed Syntax error on line 92 of d:/oracle/ora92/sqlplus/admin/isqlplus.conf: failed to create FastCGI application accept mutex Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit.
Has anyone experienced this before? Also Java.exe is taking up considerable memory according to the task mgr. Is there anything I can do here? I plan on using Oracle 9i PE for learning purposes and only occasionally. I don't want to sacrifice my pc to it full time. Thanks. Received on Tue Oct 15 2002 - 09:19:46 CDT
