MS-Access needs to think there is a primary key field in the table.
When you establish the link to the table, MS-Access will try to
automatically
determine which field is the primary key field. If MS-Access can't
determine which
field, it will show you all fields and let you pick on (or more).
If there is no primary key field on the table, you can still insert (via
Access) if you
tell Access that one or more of the fields is the key field (even though
they aren't).
