9iDB and Apache

Installed Oracle9i database, release 2.



Apache came with it and was installed.  Apache starts up and
shuts down OK.



However, when I load IE6 and enter localhost (or 127.0.0.1, or
name of computer), the index.html file in Apache root folder does
not load.  Checked root path in Apache config file.  It is
correct.



Any ideas?
