Afaik, all databases (7,7,8i,9i), and they say even non-oracle databases.

I did not use Developer Suite 9i yet, so I cannot compare.

I started working with Developer 6i just 5 months ago, and I still have a long way to go, since I could not visit any courses for it. As far as I can see now, it is more difficult than administering the db itself. Forms is *very* complex application developement. And there are very few books on it available, even O´Reilly provides not even one !

There are people, too, who say that Forms (in Developer Suite) is not state of the art,
and who turn to Visual C++ to make their own Oracle Applications. On the other hand, then You must study C++, too ... I cannot code C++ well, so I stay to Forms, because there I can use PL/SQL. But this is everyones own decision...
