Newbie Question

Hi there,

I've just graduated with a BSc in Information Systems and I'm looking to get basic certification in Cisco, MCP and Oracle. Does anyone have any advice on which particular course I should do in Oracle? Should I utilise the options at the "Oracle University" or go elsewhere?

I'd prefer to do self-learning via text books/CD Rom's etc. Can anyone recommend anything either web-based or on Amazon or similar.

Any help at all will be gratefully received.
