The Network Adapter could not establish the connection

Why could it not? Well because:
"java.sql.SQLException: I/O-exception:
The Network Adapter could not establish the connection". That's why.

I checked that http://giraffen.ostkupan.studenthem.gu.se shows the default page (i have even modified it to be absolutely sure that it's mine). The drivers are there (the program would not compile without them, anyway) in file "classes12.zip". A database is created and i have checked that the DB-files are in the right spot.

Yet, the stupid DB doesn't do what i want it to. As usual - what can i have missed? (it may be something very basic so don't be shy)
