Archive log deletion

Creating a database in Oracle 9i. Most data will be static, updated in batch on a daily basis but those not need logging.

Created database with ARCHIVELOG ON and duplicating the archive logs.

Use backup to back them up and delete them but does not remove them all and leaves the duplicates. What am I missing here? The database can be rebuilt easily at this moment. No data. Logs from the system tables etc. Received on Fri Jun 28 2002 - 07:20:50 CDT
