I recently had the same problem. What you must do is edit you PATH variable. Add something like D:\Program\WordPad to it, and you should get it working.

Although, I don't think it would be a good idea to use WordPad or Word as editors. They are not plain text editors. If you want something better than NotePad, download TextPad (not a Microsoft product, even if the name can give that impression) or UltraEdit.
