I seem to be having a problem getting the 8.1.7 installer to run on
Windows 2000. The autorun/setup.exe runs, but when I click
Uninstall/Install products the program just shuts down. No messages.
On the same machine I _can_ get 8.1.5 installer to start. Running SP2
on Win2K with all the security updates as of a week ago (when last I
tried). Maybe I have to back off some of the security or SP? BTW, I
started with a clean machine with SP2, did all the security updates. I
tried the install at this point and after I had installed a Netware
client.
