I just installed it on my Windows machine with just 256 M Ram. So far it seems to work fine. Although it has taken almost all the available memory. I can't watch Quicktime movies anymore.

If you want to make that experiment depends on whether it's for production or other purposes. Since the original poster had an .edu in his path, I guess "other".

Oh, and in case you (Ha Ha) are planning to download 9i from the site, I ended up having to use the GetRight software to do it. I didn't have enough "system resources" for Windows 2000 to be able to save the largest of the files. Received on Wed May 29 2002 - 17:25:36 CDT
