It is perfectly legal. In any environment where you have more than one
server and more than one type of app say internet and client server, compare
the licence cost your oracle rep quotes with the optimum combination of
processor and per user licences available from the online store. It is
frequently possible to reduce licence costs if you are prepared to discuss
your exact licencing requirements with the rep. many businesses however just
get quotes and then purchase on that basis.
