What's the performance impact of running Performace Manager?

We are running Oracle 9.0.1 and Enterprise Manager (and tools) 9.0.1. We are going to use the Performance Manager to monitor inserts and queries. I have set up the Performance Manager on the same Unix box as where Oracle db is installed.

I was wondering what sort of performance impact the OEM and/or tools would cause on the host CPU and/or memory utilization as well as on Oracle in this type of configuration? I can't find any documentation on this either in OTN or Metalink.

Thanks in advance. Received on Tue May 14 2002 - 08:14:21 CDT
