select info from a DIRECTORY?

I' have a DIRECTORY on a 9i set up as:
create directory BFILE_DIR as 'c:\images' Is there a way to find out with SQL what physical directory BFILE_DIR is created with?
What I'm after is getting info from BFILE_DIR with SQL and use it in at Java app.
