Erwin it's a modeling tool, Visio it's only a CAD ( graphical, design) tool,
instead of erwin i would recomend dataarchitect, by Sybase, as or better
than erwin you could create a conecptual model, then migrate to phisical
model and the create the scripts to create the Database, tables, indexes,
constraints.
If you don't want real assistance and your problem it's the good graphic, Visio it's great but if you want a complete tool to design, create and manage databases, you need Erwin or dataarchitect, even you could "read" the actual structure ( reverse engeenering) of a database and create a phisical model, great!
