Re: free IT training, expert opinions needed

I agree with the comments by Kyle and Stephen.

My suggestion would be to contact some of the major universities in your area and see what they have as offerings. My experience with short intensive classes, both those I've taken and what I've heard from my students, is that very little actual learning takes place. Your head gets crammed full of stuff that pretty much drips out before you get a chance to apply it. The offerings from the university where I teach, and at others where I have researched, indicates a far more profound interest in imparting knowledge.
