Hello,

Could anybody tell me why we should use the MSDAORA OleDB provider as the server-side cursors are not available with this provider ?

I have the feeling that the OraOleDB.Oracle provider supports most Oracle functionnalities
as it's not the case with the MSDAORA Why did Microsoft develop its own provider ?

Using the same type of cursors which of both providers is the most efficient or fast ?

Thanks
