Hi,
I wanted to know if Oracle uses R trees , kdb trees etc (any other multidimensional access method) to access data from spatial databases. Or does it still use B/B+ trees ? If so , then can some one give me pointers as to where I can find documentation regarding this ? I know they use z-transforms (Peano curves) as space filling curves to convert multidimensional objects to a single dimension. But that means eventually it does end up using B/B+ trees. thanks
