I am no Oracle expert. I was wondering how this alert might affect us.

I want to know if we can remove the PLSExtproc functionality. I've looked at out stored procedures, and the only calls we make to the OS are to read files and get the system date. Are these provided by the PLSExtproc functionality? I do not believe so but I want to make sure before we remove it.

thanks
