multiple column names

      Hi,
      I would like to know whether I can have more column alias or

descriotors for individual columns. For example, can i call the column c1 as colum1 and col1 and column_1 and so on. In other words i want to know whther i can have more names for single columns in tables? Please advice, its very ungent.
