ORACLE8i Install problems under AIX4.3

I have made many tries to install Oracle 8.1.7 under AIX4.3
in the linking mode the Installer collaps with the message :



 : Error in invoking target relink of makefile !!!!!!!!!
...  This was for all the important libraries like
precomp/lib/ins_precomp.mk; the list is long and includes network,
sqlplus,


rdbms, etc.



If somebody can help or has an advice I would appreciate that.
